A rare bead, this Rudraksha is characterised by eight faces and eight lips. The shape of the bead is slightly elliptical, the Indonesian bead being smaller than the Nepalese.
The person who wears this Rudraksha after proper siddhis (method of purification and charging with mantra) becomes free from the sorrow of all the eight pahars (a day is divided into eight parts called pahars measuring about three hours each). The wearer of this Rudraksha achieves success in all ventures. It is claimed that if this Rudraksha is used with two mercury balls (prepared as per ancient ayurvedic processes); it increases wit and opens new opportunities for wealth and money. Its ruling planet is Rahu.
Eight-faced Rudraksha is the reflection of Lord Ganesh, who is worshipped prior to other gods, to help remove obstacles in the initiation of any activity. Its wearer becomes unaffected by miseries of physical, divine, or mental. It gives the wearer all kinds of attainments, riddhi and siddhi, and leads him to Shivloka. His opponents are finished, i.e. the minds or intentions of his opponents are changed in his favour.
