Three Mukhi Rudraksh

You might have come across various descriptions on the utility of different faceted Rudraksha beads. But as always, we feel it is our duty to remind the reader that the bead should not be seen in isolation as a cure for specific problems. Each bead comes with its own spiritual significance and it is only your Guru who can judge the appropriateness of the bead for you. In this issue, we shall discuss the significance of the three-mukhi Rudraksha.

As the name suggests, the three-mukhi bead has three linings from head to bottom at an equal distance. It represents fire and is used in sadhnas specific to the fire deity. Fire also happens to be the element associated with the Manipoorak chakra in a being. A person who has full control over the element of fire remains unaffected by the effects of this element. A strong and healthy Manipoorak also means a healthy digestive system. Therefore, the use of the three-mukhi Rudraksha safeguards the individual against diseases which have their origin in digestive malfunctions or by the imbalance in the Manipoorak chakra. A strong Manipoorak chakra also enhances the level of confidence and the person remains unfazed even in testing situations.
